Discussion topic for this week: What is one thing that you would like to accomplish in 2021 in either your professional or personal life and why?

Justin Bib
Founder, Cleveland Can't Wait

Cleveland Can’t Wait is a nonprofit focused on revitalizing Cleveland through civic technology and entrepreneurship. They convene, connect and champion tech-driven solutions to address old and emerging problems in the city of Cleveland.

Their mission is to advance economic opportunity and racial justice in underserved neighborhoods across the city.

They are agile and partner with community organizations, activists and entrepreneurs to pilot and scale initiatives that make an impact.

Their work supports low-income residents, students and small businesses with the skills and resources they need to succeed. They provide training and support to address information poverty, advance digital equity and build capacity.

Congratulations to Justin, he was recently honored as one of Crain's 40 under 40 class of 2020!!

"Service Above Self" Volunteer opportunities
Our Community Service Committee is doing a fabulous job providing volunteer opportunities for both those that are comfortable to go out and for those that want to volunteer right from their home. If you are doing something to help the community please send a picture and a description, we want to recognize you!!

Participate in a diaper and dye free laundry detergent drive for the Achievement Centers for Children. For 80 years they have been "empowering children and adults with disabilities and their families to achieve their greatest potential." American Red Cross Blood Donor Day, December 3, 2020.  For every 1 donation, 3 lives can be saved!  Need we say more?  This is a great opportunity for the entire family, a friend, or colleague to join you and make a difference! Due to natural disasters and Covid - 19 the need has never been greater! If donating blood isn't possible, there are plenty of other volunteer opportunities available.

Thank you to Jessica Hanes and anyone else able to "give the gift of life" this week!!
