Lindsay Walker, native of Greater Cleveland and Brush High School graduate, started working with fundraising and events over 20+ years ago while at Ohio University (OU).  Upon graduating from OU, Walker worked at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum as the Special Event Coordinator.  Walker prides herself while at the Museum for managing details for the Museum’s first-ever television summer series with MTV, showcasing Alicia Keys, John Mayer, Avril Lavigne and other prominent artists.  Walker has also been responsible for organizing exhibit openings for John Lennon, U2, Jimi Hendrix, Ronnie Woods from the Rolling Stones, B52’s, Alan Freed, Stuart Sutcliff and Hank Williams. 
 
Previous to taking on the prestigious role of Executive Director at the Alzheimer’s Association Cleveland Area Chapter and Greater East Ohio Chapter, Walker served as the Executive Director at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Executive Director at the American Heart Association. Other experiences involve leading fundraising efforts with the American Diabetes Association, March of Dimes and the American Red Cross.  She is a 2022 receipt of the Beachwood Chamber’s Nonprofit Woman of The Year, 2015 recipient of Crain’s Cleveland Forty Under 40, 2015 recipient of Smart Business Women Who Excel and a 2012 recipient of Inside Business Top 25 under 35
 
Walker a current Twinsburg resident has her Masters of Art in Organization Management and you can find her performing locally in various community musical theater productions with her husband Michael, a reserve Lieutenant Commander Officer in the US Coast Guard, fourteen-year-old son, Caden and ten-year-old daughter, Kendall.

Over the past month, Bruce and Nina have been the host to our International Peace Scholar Wisdom Addo.  Although Wisdom did join us for one of our weekly meetings, we would like the entire club the opportunity to meet and talk with him. Please RSVP to the rotary office if you are able to attend, we need a headcount for food and beverages.
