Beth Richards, host of Haunted Cleveland Ghost Tour for 20 years and author of Haunted Cleveland, will talk about some of the most haunted spots in Cleveland!  This talk will include a slide show of those haunted locations.

   Holiday Toy Drive   
This year's Vocational Service Committee holiday toy drive is underway, in support of Pathways Caring for Children.  We will be purchasing holiday gifts for their foster care program.  Our goal this year is to provide gifts for 24 kids. In lieu of "passing the hat" at a Rotary meeting, we are providing a few ways to donate:

"Service Above Self" Volunteer opportunities
Help Decorate for Winterfest!  Volunteer to help decorate public square for the holiday's. Saturday, November 7th, from 8:00 - 4:00 p.m. (Parking is free) This is a great opportunity to volunteer outside and help make a positive impact on our city! The Greater Cleveland Food Bank has an upcoming volunteer day, November 10th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. They are seeking 10+ volunteers.  If interested please click the following link to register:

For 80 years they have been "empowering children and adults with disabilities and their families to achieve their greatest potential." American Red Cross Blood Donor Day, December 3, 2020.  For every 1 donation, 3 lives can be saved!  Need we say more?  This is a great opportunity for the entire family, a friend, or colleague to join you and make a difference! Due to natural disasters and Covid - 19 the need has never been greater! If donating blood isn't possible, there are plenty of other volunteer opportunities available. 
 
 
Connecting for Kids –  This volunteer opportunity will help families in the west side suburbs, if interested please contact Sarah Rintamaki for details. (sarahrintamaki@connectingforkids.org) 
 
They need volunteers to assemble Sensory Processing Awareness kits in their homes.  These will go to 3-4 year-olds with special needs.  The goal is to do 100 at a time to reach a total of 5,000 assembled kits.  As a volunteer you would Pick up the kits from a porch in Lakewood, assemble the kits at home, and then return them to the Lakewood porch.  Assemble inside with a pet-free home or outside if you have pets.
