Howard Lichtig
2024-2025 Rotary Club of Cleveland President
Vice President, CBRE

This week is our 2025 Rotary Club of Cleveland "Town Hall".  President Howard will begin with an overview of our club's goals - where we stand and what is ahead. Learn about the impact of our club both globally and within our community. Please make your attendance a priority!

Most importantly this is an opportunity for members to provide success stories within our club, what opportunities exist to make our club better, and another feedback that will assist in attaining our mission:

"Cultivating a diverse community of informed professionals working collectively to create a positive impact by exchanging ideas, forming meaningful, life long friendships, and giving back to our community."

***After our meeting we will be holding a facilitator training session for our upcoming 47th Annual Thesmacher High School Recognition Day.  Please join us to find out more about this amazing event honoring seniors from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.
Cleveland Rotary Foundation Annual Fund Campaign is still in full force - Help with 100% Participation!
The success of the Cleveland Rotary Foundation and our club’s ability to leverage volunteer efforts with financial resources to do good in our community and around the globe depend on our members. With the help of your donations we are able to fund approximately $125K worth of "doing good" each year. Please help us achieve our goal of 100% participation - no donation is too small!
Donations can be made online at  https://rotaryclubofcleveland.com or via check - payable to Cleveland Rotary Foundation - 377 Lear Rd. #222, Avon Lake, OH 44012.

American Red Cross Blood Donor Day, March 27, 2025

The American Red Cross is experiencing an emergency blood shortage
  • The nation faces the lowest number of people giving blood in 20 years. Blood and platelet donations are needed now to help alleviate the shortage and ensure lifesaving medical procedures are not delayed.
  • Over the last 20 years, the number of people donating blood to the Red Cross has fallen by more than 40%.
  • Additional challenges lie ahead as winter weather and seasonal illnesses like the flu and COVID-19 may compound the dire blood supply situation the nation currently faces.
  • Blood products are currently going to hospitals faster than blood donations are coming in. In recent weeks, the Red Cross has had to limit distributions of some of the most transfused blood types to hospitals.
  • Make an appointment to give blood or platelets now by using the Red Cross Blood Donor App, visitingRedCrossBlood.org or calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
