Join us for Rotary Works! this Thursday, Aug. 6th
Starting at 11:30 a.m. utilizing the same link for our speaker below. We will use Zoom breakout rooms, keeping each room to no more than 8 people. This is a great networking opportunity affording everyone to socialize in a small group setting, you will share business or personal success or failure stories, explain what a good referral is for your business and talk about what you or your business have done differently during the pandemic. This will conclude at 11:55 a.m. just in time for our regularly scheduled meeting
Willie Delwiche helps to put the ever-changing, economic landscape into perspective.
COVID-19 has changed the global landscape. While some factors affecting our financial well-being are out of our control, Willie’s overview of market conditions, prospects, and wealth strategies will provide you with knowledge you can use to manage your finances through times of hardship and times of prosperity.
Let’s discuss where we are headed and how you can best position yourself for the future.
This week the following committee will meet at 1:15 p.m. after our speaker (using the same zoom link as the meeting)
Membership Development Committee:
This committee is responsible for encouraging club members to identify viable prospective new members. It meets regularly to develop new strategies for identifying prospects, to receive reports on where prospects stand in the recruitment process, and to lend assistance as needed in follow-up on prospects. The goal of this committee is to involve all members in some aspect of membership development. It also helps new members find a place of service in the Rotary Club of Cleveland by encouraging all members to actively participate on committees. It educates new members about committee purposes and increases overall involvement of members in club programs and activities and either assigns or allows the new member to “choose” a mentor to support the orientation process following the guidelines set forth in the Standard of Membership.
Rotarian in the News
Congratulations to our own Past District Governor Beverly Ghent-Skrzynski (Past President RCC 2015-2016) Beverly was awarded the District 6630 "inaugural" Governor's Award of Excellence. There is certainly no one more deserving of this award, we have had the privilege of her leadership, guidance and commitment to our club for over 25 years.
"For exhibiting the highest level of excellence in supporting Rotary International District 6630 with unwavering loyalty and dedication to our districts highest ideals" ~ Immediate Past District Governor John Reyes.
What are you doing in your community during these unprecedented times? Since we are currently unable to volunteer in large groups, we are looking for ways to connect and share in activities that our members are participating in on their own. Please feel free to invite a Rotary buddy to your next activity if you feel comfortable doing so. Together we can continue to do good things in the community even while we are still apart.
